Shorenewstoday.com – Feb 2017 – USA

It has been reported that the Shore Medical Center has been presented with a cheque for $500,000 from Ocean City Masonic Lodge 171. This will allow the group to establish the Flora Baker Alzheimer’s Disease and Related Disorders Centre.

The generous donation came from the centre’s name-sake, Flora Baker, who died in 2014 aged 95.

The CEO of Shore medical centre, Ron Johnson, has said that the centre will fill a tremendous need for care in the local community. Withouth the donation, the centre and related services would not be possible.
