SpaceX announces plan to launch tourists around the Moon – Feb 2017 – Space

In one of the largest stories of the month, Space X has announced plans to send two private tourists to the moon and back on the trip of a lifetime.

The trip is planned for late 2018, with the cost to both Space X and the private investors currently remaining undisclosed.

The pair will recieve extensive training and be required to complete various forms of fitness testing before being given the green light for space flight.

If the flight goes ahead, it will be the first time humans have been into space for the last 45 years.
